More Rain

17 days in a row now. Flooding is starting to become an issue ever where in the state of Oklahoma. Jokes of arks being built are no longer funny.
The girls just want it to be dry so we can either go swimming or get our pool out. We got Tabitha her own little pool and she has yet to get to swim in it.
Enough already!

Fun Stop

Today I took the girls to this indoor play place called Fun Stop. It was a lot of fun for Abby and Tabitha. Maddy got a little board. Tabitha enjoyed crawling up to the top of this slide then sliding down on her tummy. Who taught her that? No one, she figured it out on her own! Abby really enjoyed singing in the room and dancing all around. She is quite the preformer!

AJ

Yea! I got some pictures.

I am an Aunt!!!

Avery James Lambert was born at 4:30 this morning. He weighed in at 9 pounds and 9 ounces and he was 22 inches long! WOW!
I am going to give Deena a call in the morning to see how they are doing. I wanted to give them a rest today.

We stayed home this morning and let Tabitha take a nap. Then we met up with friends at the mall. Bought tights for all three girls for this winter. Played in the play area and the girls all had slushes.
Tabitha wanted to play at the play area so badly. She didn't seem to mind all of the kids whizzing past us!

Later this afternoon I took the girls up to Vinod's work then we walked over to the library.

Wow, what busy day!

14 days!!!

It has been 14 days of continuous rain. HOLY COW.
Today we went to Hobby Lobby and when we were ready to leave (and Tabitha was really ready to leave) it was raining so hard we had to wait. For about 20 minutes for the rain to slow down. Not stop just slow down.
We then came home and watched the rain for a couple more hours.
And you probably guessed it, 100% chance of rain for tomorrow.

I am also very patiently waiting to become an Aunt. My poor sister in law has been in the hospital since 10:00 this morning. I didnt think much longer though!
I just cant wait to see Avery!

Who needs rain?

This is enough! Every afternoon for the past 6 days it has rained.
Again today we were all ready, suits were on and we were all lathered with sunscreen when it started to thunder and rain before we were even able to go to the pool. The girls were so dissapointed. Worst yet, it is forcast to rain all week. Really getting tired of this rain!

Some books and a little tushy

Tabitha got a new book from a friend. It was a belated birthday gift. She really enjoyed it. She looked so cute walking around with this book that looks so heavy!

After all that playing and dinner she was very messy tonight I gave her a bath. She was walking all over the tub tonight. So sute. Especially this picture:

Hope you had a great weekend. We did!

Saturday

Well, the doctor said she has that virus but by Saturday morning she was back to her old self. I think it was just teething! I had to go to work but by the time I got home she was all over the place. I sat down to check my e-mails and she wanted to sit on my desk and empty my pen jar. Fun!

Quiet Day

About 3:30 am Tabitha woke up with a fever. I stayed up with her most of the night. We took her to the doctor and she has "Virus Syndrome". That is so funny! It sounds so tragic and is really if you think about it...she just has to work through it on her own. No medicines to help.
Tabitha has a sore throat, she is achy and as well as a fever the doctor said the "syndrome" :) also comes with a headache. Poor thing.

We are hoping to go to the library later this evening.

On a much happier note the girls went outside to play with the neighbor girls and I got 3 loads of laundry done! Yea!!!

Have a great day.

Rain Rain GO AWAY!!!

We were very excited about going swimming with some friends and about 30 minutes before we were to leave, we heard thunder, then the rain came. It wasnt much and has already cleared up, but it is soooo muggy.
No pictures today.

The lake

Today I took the girls to Lake Arcadia. Let me tell you it was the most perfect day! It didn't get above 85 and the water was great. The sun didn't shine to much but that didn't stop the fun. We had a picnic and played in the water for almost 4 hours.

Maddy really enjoyed playing in the sand. Abby liked to see just how far out she could go. The water was very high from all of the rain we have had so the swim area was extra big. Tabitha enjoyed playing in the water, and eating. Eating the SAND! Yuck!

Today I watched the girls next door for a little while. Maddy, Abby and the girls were running around and Tabitha just loved watching them. She went down on the ground and started running after them it was so cute. Of course they were so much faster than her. I quickly grabbed the camera and she couldn't find the girls so I asked her where did they go and this was the response I got:

It was like she was saying "I don't know but I will find them" She had such a good time chasing them.

Open for business

Maddy has decided to start a Mother's Helper business, and it started today. She babysat Ria. A 2 1/2 year old. With my help of course. Maddy did such a good job. She did everything on her own. She played with her, got her snack and cleaned up her mess. She also made $8.00!!

Maddy is so proud of that money! And she should be she made it on her own.

The girls and I also went to the park today but it was so muggy and the bugs were so bad we left after only an hour. I think we all left with 3 or more mosquito bites!

Have to share this...

Vinod and the girls were outside and they saw this beautiful rainbow. Does that mean the end of rain for us?

Happy Father's Day!!!

We had a very fun day with Vinod. We went and ate lunch at an Indian restaurant. One that we had not been to before. It was very good. We got to sit in a little hut like room. The girls loved it. After we just ran a bunch of errands. The girls got new shoes and we took them to the candy store in the mall.
The picture of Dad is for Maddy's scrapbook. I wanted to post it though, in honor of Father's Day.

Maa Maa

Last night in the car, Maddy was eating ice. Tabitha wanted some. It was little so we let her (she loves ice!!!) Every time she wanted another piece she would say Maa Maa (think baa baa). After doing this for quite some time we finally figured she was saying Maddy! She wanted more ice!
Maddy is so proud that she is saying her name. We all think its pretty darn cool!

Maddy's Girl Scout ceremony got postponed to next week. Maddy really wants us to go. So I think we will venture out there. Maybe it wont be so wet.

Have a great weekend.

A visit from Grandpa

The girls get so excited when Grandpa comes over for a visit. They just love him so much! It was very nice to see him on his way to Iowa.

We didn't get to swim yesterday. We have had almost 5 inches in rain. We are ready for things to dry up but doesn't look like it will be this weekend.

Tabitha is walking every where now. She is still wobbly but it is so cute! She is working on getting 2 more teeth.

Tonight Maddy is going to a ceremony for Girl Scouts. She is bridging up from a Brownie to a Junior. I hope to get a picture to share. I have deiced not to go. The ceremony is at the lake and I was told the mosquito and ticks are bad. I do not want to expose that to Tabitha.

More later.

Have to share this

The girls and I have been swimming everyday this week. We are hoping to get to swim today if the sun comes out.

Tabitha got to swim for the first time. She loves the water. She sits in her boat for a while then I carry her around.

Maddy and Abby are learning how to swim and they are getting so good. I bet by the end of the summer they will be life jacket free!

Enjoy the pictures.

It's a......BLOG!!!

I thought I would try this out. I think it would be such a great way for friends and family to see what we are doing.
With the girls, we are always so busy. Check in and see what we are up to!
