Welcome to our family.....

Abby's new American Girl doll, Rose Donna. She came in the mail yesterday and Abby was so excited to see her. She tracked her whereabouts for several days and was anxiously waiting her arrival.

VBS

The girls spent the week at VBS having a great time at their beach themed party! Maddy made new friends and loved the games and Abby loved seeing a classmate and all the crafts they did. VBS made for a great week!

Panties, shoes and a tinkle!

Maddy did such a great job potty training Abby I decided to tell the girls today it was time to teach Tabitha. Whenever the girls go to the bathroom they take Tabitha with her. Well it worked. Abby took her to the bathroom and Tabitha went potty! Yea for her! Tabitha got a lot of praise and a candy treat, which she loved! Later she was in the kitchen and she came up to me and said "I pee pee in Elmo" (she has a Elmo potty) I got up and saw that she had gone to the bathroom in the kitchen but she knew she needed to try in Elmo. She sat down and nothing so she got up and went back to playing. She didn't even ask for another candy. I am crossing my fingers this goes fairly quickly!
Yea Tabitha!!!

A day in the sun!

Today the girls and I went to try out another splashpad in town. This one was much nicer than the others I have been to although it was a little bit smaller. Very quiet. The girls had fun. Maddy and Abby found a large group of very nice neighborhood girls. They has so much fun hanging out with the girls. Tabitha played in the water a little but she mostly stayed with me. She did like this water sprayer that she could move and she got very good at getting mommy!
I plan on going again tomorrow!

Slip and Slide Competition

Maddy and Abby love to have a slip and slide competition. They make a slide and we score them. A good slide gets a certain number of points and any tricks gets extra points. They girls get pretty creative with their slides!

Tabitha wasn't as certain about the sprinkling water as the girls were but she wanted to try it out but quickly ran away!

Happy Birthday!!!

Abby's day started with breakfast in bed. She asked for a yummy egg casserole and chocolate milk.

The girls are in VBS this week so we opened cards first this morning.
After VBS we went to Jamba Juice for Abby's special birthday drink (usually coffee...decaf) It was a good place to go because the drink were on the house because their credit card machine was broken. They didnt even ask for another form of payment just said they were on the house. Then when Abby got her drink, they sang happy birthday to her!

Then we went to Lake Hefner for a picnic at the light house. The girls love to go there and feed the ducks. Good think the ducks loved taco chips!

Abby got lots of good stuff for her birthday, like magnetic earrings, chocolate, new jammies, a backpack, and a Tartis.

This is the Tardis piggy bank she got. The Tardis is something from one of her favorite tv shows.
We had dinner and ice cream at Red Robin.
Than cake at home after a trip to Toys R Us. Abby picked out a chocolate cake with fondant. So sweet but very good.
Happy 7th Birthday Abby!

Clydesdales

The girls and I and several moms from The MOMS Club went to the Express Clydesdale farm in Yukon. WOW! The barn is beautiful and the animals are AMAZING and also so beautiful. Maddy, Abby and Tabitha loved Emmitt, the horse they brought out to pet.
We also got to see 1 cat, 2 dogs, a miniature pony, a donkey and a zebra. The girls really had a great time. A few of the horses were getting ready for a show so we got to watch them getting bathed. I think the horses love bath time!

Are these not the cutest pigtails you have ever seen?

Science Museum

Jennifer, Paden and Josie asked us if we would like to go to the Science Museum. Its getting so warm out that we were all very excited to go. The museum is one of our favorite places to go.

Maddy loved the space room the most. There is a black hole to play with and also a space ship simulator. There are other fun things in the room but those two are Maddy's favorites.

Abby loved a new exhibit called Tinkering Garage. There is a lot of things to create and build. She really liked stacking the cups the most. She made this one and it was 3 dimensional.

Tabitha was in a mood and did not feel like walking until we went in to the kids room and she was all over the place. She loved the slide and the water table the most. She got a little wet and had to walk around in her diaper which was just fine for her!

Unpluggits

Abby, Tabitha and I went to a new play place here. I have to say I wasn't sure of the concept...crafting and playing but it works and the girls loved it! There is a huge fun play place to play in with a small play place for little ones and in a separate room there is painting, play dough, train table and much more fun stuff. I had to pull Abby out of there but we were not empty handed, Tabitha and Abby both made several beautiful pictures for us.
