Tabby saw this gift and asked for 5 days where is my sesses bag. She was very happy to finally get it!

Blizzard 2009

This drift was at our front door. How cool is that. It looks like a wave.

Abby and I delivered cookies to our neighbors in that. It was a little cold!

Christmas Eve we had a huge snow storm. The wind and snow blowing around was amazing. I was surprised how much we got. My area was reported to get 11 inches. we had snow drifts in our yard 4 and 5 feet tall.

Ree Drummond

So I have been following her website and trying her recipes for a while and she just came out with a cookbook. I have wanted to go to a book signing but the times were not great but she came to the bookstore very close to my house and I got to meet her and she signed my cookbook! I was very excited. Since I got her book I have tried several more recipes. I just love how easy her recipes are and how easy I can change them to suit our needs.

Dinner and a Show

We ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse, the girls favorite because of the peanuts and rolls. And then we drove over to Chesapeake to see their Christmas lights. We didn't walk around because we weren't dressed for the chill but next year we will.

Always fun!

12 years

Vinod and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. To celebrate we drove to Tulsa to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, without any kids!
The girls stayed home with our friend Cassie. THANKS CASSIE!!!!


Do you see my chocolate cake?????? I ate it for 3 days!!!!!!! It was soooooo good.

Winter Band Concert

Maddy had her first band concert. There are 3 flutes in her class. She was first chair by default. The first chair had Chicken Pox. (How crazy is that!) She crossed her fingers all week he would have to stay home;)

Karate

The girls had their belt test this month. They both worked and practiced very hard. We are proud of them both.


In Abby's class they not only earn their first belt but they also earn their Gi.

Here is Maddy with her boards. To earn a green belt she had to break a board with a kick and with a punch. She did both!

Here they are sparring. Maddy and Alyssa are the only girls in their class and they are both sparring with green belts. Maddy is in the middle.

Here Maddy is sparring right in front of us. Tabitha noticed what Maddy was doing and started yelling. "Hey no fighting, Maddy is fighting and she needs to stop. No fighting Maddy"

The Grinch

Borders had a fun activity one weekend. They read the Grinch who stole Christmas and made crafts, had cookies and drank hot cocoa. Abby and Tabby had a great time. After the girls found the Mr. Men books, their favorite.

SHOES!

Tabitha just cant get enough shoes so she has to barrow her sisters. Here she is in Maddy's boots.

Oh Christmas Tree

This is all the photos I have from decorating the tree. My battery went out before we were done.
We decided Tabitha was old enough to put the star on the tree, but once Vinod got her up there, she didnt think it was such a good idea so Maddy put the star on the tree.

Dance Class

Tabitha loves her dance class she and Olivia take together. During this class the parents got to sit in the room and watch. Tabitha enjoyed being the ringleader in giving mommy kisses. Once she did it they all went to their moms and gave them hugs and kisses.

Tabitha adores her teacher Ms. Lisa. SHe is great with thje kids too.

November Updates

We had the best weather this Fall. We got to take several trips to the zoo and enjoy the animals.

Tabitha went to a birthday party at Oklahoma Gold. She really likes the trampoline and foam pit.

Grandpa and Grandma came for a visit. The girls love it when they come.

The scrapbook store offered a Twilight Calender Class. Maddy had to take it and did a great job creating her calender. After the class we went and saw New Moon.

We got to go to the Omniplex two times this month. We always enjoy going and find something new to play with each time. The girls love the gadgets room and we got to go through the Who Done It/Crime lab. Very interesting.

Thanksgiving was very quiet, simple and very much enjoyed! Happy Thanksgiving.
