Maddy had her first Karate tournament yesterday. That was the longest 6 hours EVER! Abbey and Tabby did great, they got to run around the track upstairs and eat lots of junk food.
Maddy competed in 2 areas. Her Kata, and sparing. She competed against other boys and girls in her belt and age group.
Maddy did her Kata very well. She got 2 7.5's and 1 6.0. We are not sure what she placed in that area.

As for sparring she got 2nd place in the girls sparring. Way to go Maddy!
Her second time to spar, she got kicked in the stomach pretty hard but she is ok now!
