October Recap

We started October with a school trip to the Arbuckle Mountains with Maddy's 6th grade class. 4 days of wet, cold, fun. Maddy and I really enjoyed the archery.

Here is a group of the girls in our cabin. We were on a scavenger hunt. See the water? It wasn't the first time or last we got to wade in water. Our shoes were always wet!

This is right after we climbed up a mountain. See our view!

Maddy was against the fishing at first but was convinced that we were not harming the fish. She almost caught a dozen. Hungry fish!

We tried a different pumpkin patch this year. Look at those gourds.

Abby on top of the world.

Picking out our pumpkins was the most fun.

Even Tabby picked a few.

Tabby had to paint her pumpkin right away.

Abby joined fall soccer. She really enjoyed playing and her team. No goals were scored but she learned a lot and cant wait for spring soccer.

Is she spooky or what!

This groovy chick got to enjoy a Halloween dance at school. Everyone in her school had the chance to dress up on Halloween. She said there were many interesting costumes.

Tabby had a hard time liking any of my suggestions for costumes. She did agree in dressing in Maddy's ballet costume from last year and be a witch. She only lasted a dozen or so houses before we went home and handed out candy in our driveway. It was a beautiful night.

We gave her a broom to complete her costume but she insisted on sweeping instead of riding.

Here are my ghouls!

Tabby had a few tasty treats in her bag. She really enjoyed this sucker and pixie sticks. This girl loves her sweets!
